SAMCEF Gateway

 

SAMCEF Gateway is a door between CATIA V5 CAE and SAMCEF. Models built in the first room are put at the format to be computed in the second one.

 

SAMCEF Gateway enables SAMCEF users to export SAMCEF data from a CATIA V5 analysis document. It gives access to all SAMCEF solvers directly from dialog boxes linked to the CATIA GPS environment. Extra dialog boxes for features specific to SAMCEF are available. Missing features can be input via a text file that is automatically added at the end of the file produced by SAMCEF Gateway.




Solution Sets:

  • The linear static analysis solution set of SAMCEF Gateway produces a SAMCEF Asef analysis model
  • The modal analysis solution set of SAMCEF Gateway produces a SAMCEF Dynam analysis model
  • The non-linear structures analysis solution set of SAMCEF Gateway produces a SAMCEF Non-Linear model where you have access to most of the powerful features of SAMCEF Non-Linear: large displacements, rotations and deformations, contact algorithms, time integration schemes... Solver strategy is automatically selected to make SAMCEF Non-Linear use easy for designers with less experience in Finite Elements computations 
  • The thermal analysis solution set of SAMCEF Gateway produces steady state SAMCEF Thermal models. Solver strategy is also automatically selected
