SAMCEF Random Vibration computes the response to prescribed cross-correlated forces and/or accelerations acting on the support and distributed loads with spatial coherence.
Loading is described in terms of power spectral densities (PSD). The PSD matrix of correlated fields is easily introduced through a text file. The spatial correlation between distributed loads is introduced through analytical functions. Modal damping is used. A fatigue life analysis can be carried out if the material data is adapted to it.
It provides users with RMS displacements, velocities, accelerations, stresses and damage associated with stress distributions. It includes a complete choice of monolayer or multilayer elements whose material can be isotropic, orthotropic, anisotropic or composite. Elements, combined or not, can be volume, shells, plane stresses, plane strains, axisymmetric.
SAMCEF Random Vibration allows sub-structuring or Super-Elements. You can work on very large number of meshes and use very efficient algorithms. Memory management allows you to optimize calculation time and disk space.
